Admission Procedure Details :

For General Nursing and Midwifery course (GNM):

A Candidate who has passed 10+2 under the council of Higher Secondary Education,Odisha with Science/Arts/Commerce/vocational or equivalent with minimum 40% marks (without extra optional) for General Candidates and 35 % for SC/ST Candidates shall be eligible to apply .
Applicant must not below 17 year and above 35 year of age on month of June of the Admission year and 5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST Candidates.
Candidate should be medically fit to undergo the entire training programme. A medical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner in the prescribed proforma should be submitted, if selected for admission.

For Auxiliary Nurses and Midwives (ANM):

A Candidate who has passed 10+2 under the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha or equivalent will be eligible to apply.
Applicant must not be below 17 year and above 35 year age on month of June of the admission year and 5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST Candidates.
Candidate should be medically fit to undergo the entire training programme. A medical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitoner in the prescribed proforma should be submitted, if selected for admission.
The applicant should be a resident of Odisha.

ADMISSION:

Selected candidates will be communicated by registered post, E-mail, mobile message and Telephone.
A list of selected candidates will also be displayed in the notice board of school of nursing.

CANDIDATES ARE TO BRING THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS WITH THEM FOR ADMISSION

Call letter received from the school for admission.
Original 10th and +2 provisional certificate issued by concerned Board Council/university.
Original cast certificate issued by the Compitent Authority.
Six recent passport size photographs.
Orginal School/college leaving certificates.
Undertaking of candidates to the effect that:she/he will abide by the rules and regulation in the school and hostel during her /his period of training.
